Never give up on your dreams, always pursue them until you live them!
I feel today so fortunate to have been grown in a creative/artistic environment and culture : as my grandmother was a stylist sewing wedding customs and dresses, my mother and aunts creating amazing accessories by knitting, embroidering, painting and crochet, my brother drawing design cars since he was a little boy; I’ve spent most of my childhood as well knitting wool scarves, making little wallets and beach bags in crochet (it was my favourite activity), creating pearl jewelries with my BFFs during nap time and decorative objects with crochet and embroideries.
I am so thankful today to my mother to have been so patient teaching me and offering me all that creative environment, my aunts who inspired me with their work and my grandmother who gave the best tips later on sewing ( yes I made most of my beach/summer dresses by my own as well ! )
Then I got involved in the blog-sphere. It was in 2007. I was among the first group of people discovering and following Chiara Ferragni from theblondsalad.com or Andy Torres from StyleScrapbook.com. Later, I started my first blog where I was sharing my numerous creations, my DIY, my interior design/ architecture projects (cause at that moment I was studying architecture and interior design).Unfortunately I had to let my blog down due my moving to Paris to study.
I will always remember Chiara and Andy meeting and attending fashion shows in Milano or Paris, getting photographed, and sharing all their moments on their blogs and I wanted so badly to be like them, being able to be part of that special moment of a fashion show and watch as close as possible the magnificent work that can a fashion designer offer!
I never thought 5 years later, I will live in Paris and attend not only the Paris Fashion Week but Paris Haute Couture! I did it yesterday with the Zuhair Murad Haute Couture Fashion Show. Zuhair Murad who dressed the most beautiful women, from Jennifer Lopez to Alessandra Ambrosio, Chanel Iman, Sofia Vergara and so on … believe me I had tears on my eyes watching the show and getting my selfie at the end as Zuhair Murad in person called me with my friend to take the last picture with him.
I’m sharing with you through this post my dream moment, hopefully not the last one!
